ProHealth is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse 

The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. The tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Under limited supervision, the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is responsible for the delivery of patient care to assigned patients utilizing the nursing processes of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • The LVN is responsible for meeting the established standards of their profession as well as those established by the nursing department of the facility and department in which they are employed.

  • The nurse is accountable for his/her nursing practice and assigned patient and is an advocate for patients/families and nursing.

  • Is responsible for meeting the established standards of his/her profession and for practicing within the scope of licensure. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of age-specific patient populations and cultural diversity during the provision of patient care.

  • Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.

  • Promotes an environment of care. Supports the organizational vision and mission.


  • A graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Currently licensed or eligible for licensure by the state in which the nurse practices.
  • At least one year of supervised experience as an LVN.
