Telemetry (Tele) Registered Nurse (RN)

Let’s Do Great. Together. Alezandria healthcare client is seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse. Responsibilities: • Monitor for blood pressure, heart rate, blood oxygen level, breathing rate, and other vital signs. • Work closely with physicians to develop treatment plans for patients in the telemetry unit, including plans for discharge and home care as the patient progresses during their hospital stay.
• Administer medications and communicate with patients regarding their condition. Requirements: • Telemetry Registered Nurse must be proficient in using technology and interpreting data. • Telemetry Registered Nurse must have extensive knowledge and a familiarity with their patients’ medical history, so that they can ensure that patients are receiving the correct care and answer any questions patients may have. • Telemetry Registered Nurse must have strong multi-tasking abilities. • Telemetry Registered Nurse must be able to communicate with patients regarding their condition, and therefore should have a good interpersonal skills. • Telemetry Registered Nurse must be responsible for educating patients and their families on healthy diet and exercise, disease prevention and lifestyle changes that are needed once a patient leaves the hospital. • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license.
• Two (2) years’ minimum experience working in the Telemetry unit in a hospital setting. • Two (2) years’ minimum of recent experience in the Telemetry. Prohealth2016
